i'm maggie, a self-taught artist based in leipzig/germany. i founded "left gurl" in 2020 when i picked sewing/upcycling as a hobby again. i already used to print/paint on clothes as a teen. til this day, i do everything myself. I print, draw, design, sew, and package your orders. i'm a nerd for anything print, no matter if it's analog or digital. i also like to combine digital and analog media.
i'm still a student, but it is my dream to become a full-time artist one day. by buying from me, you support me on that journey :)

everything you can buy in my shop is designed by me or in collaboration with actual human artist (no generative ai). i print, sew, glue, bedazzle most things myself. I only print on ethically produced or thrifted clothes.

im a feminist and an antifascist. i believe that art is political and it is possible to make political clothes without it becoming a meaningless cash-grab. while i want to make a living of my art, i still want my actions to align with my values. so i will regularly donate some of my profit to antifascist or feminist projects.

with my ongoing collection "antifa glam club", i make clothes that make room for queer aesthetics in a cis-male dominated scene.
